Objective: To demonstrate the advantages of Lumboperitoneal (LP) shunt surgery applied to patients with normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH).Methods: Preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative data 20 who underwent LP for NPH between 01/01/2012 07/04/2022 at Neurosurgery Clinic Ordu University Training Research Hospital were analyzed. The demographic, clinical laboratory as well their medical records reviewed. Patients diagnosis in our clinic screened retrospectively, success rates complications after surgical intervention these recorded.Results: Statistically significant improvements recorded Modified Ranking Scale Scores Mini-Mental State Examination end first year. incidence Gait Disturbance did not differ significantly by gender, dementia urinary incontinence showed a change according gender While all women diagnosed had preoperative period, this rate was seen only 66.7% men. disturbance improved 80%, 60%, cognitive functions 60% patients.
